M. Jodi Rell, Governor of Connecticut has declared March 1, 2008 as The Be Positive Do Something Positive Day in Connecticut.
Her “Official Statement” reads as follows:
Whereas, Citizens residing in the state of Connecticut as well as across the country are experiencing negative events and news on a daily basis, and are feeling the negative emotional and health impact of these negative events and news; and
Whereas, HaroldSays, is an organization that works towards promoting positive thought and action on part of and for the benefit of all citizens throughout the country who are crucial to making our nation a more positive and safer place to live; and
Whereas, Citizens should have the opportunity to be positive and do something positive; and
Whereas, we should recognize and support the people, organizations, and programs that are committed to promoting positive thought and action; and
Whereas, HaroldSays and other state and local organizations are celebrating Be Positive Do Something Positive Day, March 1, 2008; now
Therefore, I, M. Jodi Rell, Governor of the State of Connecticut, do hereby officially designate March 1, 2008, as Be Positive Do Something Positive Day in the state of Connecticut.
