The international kick off for The Be Positive Day was held in Wilkes-Barre PA on March 1, 2008.

What an honor it was to have Mark Hoog, acclaimed children's book author, celebrate The Be Positive Do Something Positive Day with with us at the Barnes&Noble Kings-Wilkes College Bookstore in Wilkes-Barre PA today, (March 1, 2008). Mark brought his son with him as well. Those of you who missed the book reading at Barnes&Noble and the rally with Mark really missed something special and inspirational. B+! Give Blood! Save a Life! The Blood Drive today at The Best Western Genetti Hotel and Conference Center from 12 PM to 5 PM was a success. Thank you to everyone who came and donated blood. Mark spoke at a rally at the Best Western Genetti Hotel and Conference Center today at 1 PM. Mark made us laugh. Mark touched our hearts and made some of us in the audience cry. Most importantly however; Mark will made us think! Thank you to everyone who came to the rally today.
